Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State depends on the generosity of donors like you to continue to provide life-changing support to our Little Brothers/Little Sisters. And your contribution stays right here in Rhode Island. Here are other ways you can help us enrich a life . . . and yours:

  • Pledges
    Pledges allow donors to make ongoing gifts over a period of months or years. Payment schedules are flexible.  To arrange for quarterly or annual donations or to be billed at regular intervals, contact enotardonato@bbbsos.org or 401-921-2434, Ext. 102.
  • Employer Matching Gifts
    Many employers match their employees’ gifts to charitable institutions. Some companies will match the gifts of employee spouses and retired employees as well. Ask the human resources or benefits office at your workplace for more information. Please click here to see if your employer will match your gift.
  • Tribute & Memorial Gifts
    Giving a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion is a special way to pay tribute to that special someone while supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State's mission. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by the agency to the honored person(s).
  • Stocks & Securities
    If you would like to make a gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State using appreciated securities including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, please have your broker or financial advisor contact Emily at enotardonato@bbbsos.org
  • Planned Gifts & Bequests
    A planned gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State ensures the continuation of our landmark mentoring programs and creates your own legacy of support. Planned giving also offers significant advantages, including tax breaks and a potential income increase.   • The United Way or Combined Federal Campaign
    If you donate through The United Way, or the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) please consider making a gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State.  Simply fill out our complete name and address – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State, 1540 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920 - on your pledge card.  This is very important, because numeric donor designation codes are no longer being used.
  • Cause-Related Marketing Initiatives
    Create a win-win partnership for both your business and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State. Together we can promote a product or service for mutual benefit and by demonstrating your commitment to a great cause, you will build considerable goodwill among your stakeholders, consumers and employees.     Become a Big Brother/Big Sister

    Being a Big Brother/Big Sister is about sharing simple, magical moments with a child. Help reduce a child's vulnerability and enable them to thrive emotionally, socially and academically, and help them reach their fullest potential.     Do you have a talent you’d like to share? Then come help turn it into one of our free, monthly activities for our Bigs and Littles. Perhaps it is singing, knitting, painting or a craft.
